Blimey two months since the last update but I have been busy honest
First of all a little job under the bonnet, I changed the rocker cover for the original and fitted a nice new Morris badge
Then things got serious
It was time to start the woodwork so while I was waiting for the frame to arrive from Woodies I stripped and treated the rear doors with a wood preserver then they got the Sikkens light oak treatment.
A couple of small repairs to a couple of the joints that had opened up but the rest of the doors are pretty good.
I was still waiting so I had a go at putting the screen in. Several sweaty hours later
The corners pulled in nicely with the locking strip in
The tool I bought for fitting the locking trim broke

So I made one and it worked better than the bought one
The broken tool scraped some of the chrome finish off the trim, bugger.
The timber sections finally arrived so I set about treating and assembling the sections.
Got wood
Roughly assembled
And the treatment started
Glued, screwed and stained
First top coat applied
