Tomorrow it will be a year since I took (very) early retirement:D Since then a lot of my time has been dedicated to Bonnie and Harvey and I've loved every minute of the spanner wielding, paint scraping, paint daubing and hot metal gluing. But all us pensioners need a variety of interests to keep us busy while the 'nice bit of fish' is steaming for tea and the slippers are warming by the fire so I've decided to take up gardening and.............bought a greenhouse:)

Green with envy as you know that I wanted one of them, how about doing a swap for a renault scenic megane dynamique, with you paying just a little bit of cash on top. They have a special exhaust sound that no other car has been able to copy. Did you by any chance get it from Yorkshire.

Been looking at cars for ages with a view to get a classic as a daily driver and travellers were at the top of the list but good ones fetch stupid prices - but we got a good one without the stupid price:D
Not it's not a Yorkshire car Les - it's from Bolton. A Dynamique you say - sounds tempting - let me think about it and I'll get back to you.....................erm NO[}:)]

Very tidy [8D]
You'll be needing some Riley brakes for a major upgrade, and funnily enough we have some going spare, you don't want the Begonia's rolling away ;):D

that's really nice and clean.definetly need a wicker picnic hamper tho

Yup got the hamper:D
If I were to attempt to squeeze any more power out of the little A series then the brakes will DEFINITELY need an upgrade:I
It's only just been re-built though so I'll run is as standard for a while:)

Don't worry Tim, I've only had it a day and I've been checking out if the old Mini bits will fit - not easily unfortunately:I But I do have an 1100 Mini engine in the shed and I've been checking out Vizzard again[}:)]

Most Mini stuff will fit, but the block is different for inline engines.
You can use imp pistons too, which will help to keep one of them off the road ;):D

Unfortunately you need to pocket the block to fit a 1275 head but the 1100 head and those twin SU's I've got hidden away are holding my interest:)
I know one big one is better:I But I do also have an ally Minisport manifold in reserve;)

I hope that's what's on the spare engine - it's out of a Mini Special[8D]

A beautiful addition to the fleet, we have also been hankering towards the traveller, to replace the Peugeot van, how strange:p:p
