Presumably they would have to be joined at each end to form the overall shape? Perhaps some Sikaflex would do the job?

With several mentions of new quarter light rubbers I thought I would resurrect this thread to those that haven't seen it.

One thing, has anyone tried any other companies, such as: http://www.boltonrubber.com/index.html to see if they could mould the quarter light seals?

I have been talking to the spares sec from the Imp club today. They had them made by the same guy that quoted us, he recons they are very good and are one piece mouldings. It's just up to you to confirm your orders

I think the other half of the story is that a lot of the metalwork has disolved, at least on my van. Is that common? I have lost the lower frames on both sides, plus one of the glass holders is exploding at the moment.

I had to rebuild the bottom of the frame on the passenger side which also involved making a new hinge pin and associated metal work.
Seems to work quite well,shame i didn't have the new rubbers to put in at the time.

back to my "rootes"

the metal work for the frames isnt a problem i can get these remade for anyone, its the rubbers thats the problem. but anyway id be up for a fair few.

im sure they were about twenty pound each or slightly more if made from stainless.
