workshop heating system

Thinking of a tube into it like a pan handle shape. Lighting it was easy, I dropped a couple of lighter blocks and a aerosol lid of paraffin, when the paraffin started fizzing I put two lids full of oil in. Burned for 20mins.when its in the stove it will have a drip feed oil supply so once it's lit it should keep going until the oil is switched off

Got my plumbing ordered including a length of stainless steel pipe for the drip feed. Found a suitable tank too

Plumbing stuff turned up within 24 hours! Toolstation are ace! Free postage too.

Had a play today, fitted some swirl plates which do exactly as they say on the tin.
Found a suitable oil tank too.....

Hopefully getting the flu up tomorrow if the weather is dry... Don't fancy cutting holes in the roof in the rain.

The first picpis the flue temperature, the second is the blown air temperature.... The third is what the others are....

By the time I upgrade the fan and fit the ducting the outlet temperature at the end of the ducting will be lower...

Now you need to make a small one that would blow warm air into a camper. Then sit round it in the evening to keep warm and have a nice toasty camper when it’s bed time:):)

Got it to 300 degrees C and got the stove glowing!
