workshop heating system

I've been thinking about a workshop heater for a while. Due to the size of my garage I need 2 heaters or a blown air system.

I found this in a skip.... Hopefully it will help in the project.

the plan is to make a waste oil burner with heat exchangers inside the ducting.

the small fan is interesting... 4 wires, needs a capacitor apparently. I've got Bernie on the job so should be ok.

so after the unbearable heat in the ManFacility this evening I have decided to make the blown heat system into a blown cool/heat system.

I just swopped a fridge for a stack of oil drums

the capacitor is here, need some 2"x1" box section now and I have enough componants to make the basic heat source

That's it! Works spot on and moves a hell of a lot of air!

Still not started yet but the design is coming on nicely, decided to ditch the ducting, the large fan may be too big but wont know until its installed. I'm on the hunt for scaffolding poles and lots of 2mm thick flat plate

Well I decided to start with a ready made wood burner to convert. Bought a large greenhouse wood burner from ebay for £50
