Ace work there Dan. I know just exactly how much hard work has gone into the van! Cant beat the feeling of seeing it all come together. Looking forward to seeing this one back on the black top.

Well...alright then, maybe just a little...

Looking very fresh under there dan, 100 times better than mine:eek: Good to meet you last week and many thanks for your time. (not sure if you got my message?) :)

Any one have any suggestions on this?

This is my master cylinder as I took out it's innards (now it was working) but I think the last person here didn't remember how they took it apart and then just jammed it all back in. What bit should go where? the bit that I'm not to sure about is the white plastic bit and the metal washer "thing" that is stuck over it?

Pretty sure they are in the right order, the forks on the white plastic bit fit into the end of the spring and the washer sits between the plastic bit and the end of the spring. The tabs on the washer look like they will fit inside the spring to hold it in position.

But as you see it is how it came out. the washer was half over, and one of the legs on the white thing was snapped over!

It's buggered, as you say its been jammed in and mis-aligned. A seal kit has all those bits in it and is cheap:)

one already on its way from speedy spares, £3.50 I think. No point even trying to put it back together right at that price :) and thanks for the kind words about the work guys. I love the ego boost I get from this site, makes all the hard work worth while :D
