well lets keep in contact, because I have know idea were to get bits for the engine from! Or tho mine was/is a good runner (a lot of smoke and diesel knock, but thats more to do with pump timing), I do fear getting parts for it is going to be a headache. Like I think I may need a water pump :-0

The last 4108 i had was a struggle to sell, got 7.50 for it in the end :I

perkins was a popular little diesel mate and i will pm you with a great website that does nothing else but perkins parts[8D]

recently the 4.108 has been fetching a lot of money! People soon snap them up on ebay :-/. I know lots of boats used them and are still in service but their are a few deferents between the boat engine and ours.

Thanks Im getting there slowly.
All the injectors are out of the engine and are off being tested. Apart from that and a clean and paint, I'm not doing anything else to it. Unless anyone advises me differently.

oww ok then, that reminds me, are the clutches the same on the diesels as on the petrol engines ?

Thats good I was worrying that It would be another hard thing to get hold of. Any other advice as I'm at this stage?
