Took advantage of the fabulous weather over the bank holiday to travel up to North Norflok for a couple of days.



We stayed at a great campsite in Burnham Deepdale just off the coast road and spent a great time on the beach and swimming at Titchwell and Holkham Bay.








Despite being quite busy on the coast road, as soon as you took a lovely walk out to the beaches the spaces were so huge you never felt crowded. Such a beautiful part of the country.

My neck of the woods, love the Norfolk coast. Great to hear you had a cracking BH weekend - it was a bit unbearable in Norwich but had too much on for a trip to the coast.

Bank Holiday weekend there was a good turnout of Commers at the Uffington White Horse Show in Oxfordshire.

Well, two Commers anyway.......................and both of them were mine.

There's a nice Bedford CA Debonaire, with a classic Dormobile on the far side and an HA Viva poptop this side. The Viva is snug, to say the least. I've always liked the look of the Debonaire, but after being given a conducted tour, I think I'll stick with the Jennings.

It was Hot!

Beryl looks great but but but, a Karrier with TS3 ?!!!

Love it around Uffington White Horse - there's a campsite a couple of miles away where it seems like you can see the whole of the Oxfordshire countryside !

Will keep an eye out for that show next year myself, as have friends in Oxford who I go camping with too.

Nah. It's a Karrier Bantam with Perkins 4203. Wish it was a TS3!

Thanks Paul. It was beautiful at the coast. I passed one other Commer/Dodge a red one in Burnham Market where I was enthusiastially waved down by the owner but I couldn't stop for long as I was blocking the road and the kids were keen to get to the beach!

Lush Panky...was hoping to get away this weekend but other things got in the way. Could be tucking the van up in the garage instead :-(. Got a huge list of want to do’s which will keep me cheery till spring

Oceanside weekend. Rained hard the first day, (oh! hello leaky skylight)
then perfect. Small municipal campground on an old farm property that still has lots of fruit trees on site.
Nice thing about a Commer - they can fit into wee tenting sites!

Just got back from a weekend camping in a small campsite just outside outside Chester, Nice site with a nice little pub attached, a raelly plescent and relaxing weekend.
