Indeed it was a smashing weekend when we finally got there! We were held up in the traffic on the M62 the matrix signs said 'Animals in the Road' and all the traffic came to a stand still.
So Heidi and I went for a walk about on the carriage way.

Then a sit down,

When we did start moving 1&1/2 hours later we saw what the problem was

Better to be queuing than be part of the incident.
When we finally arrived at Martins the sun was shinning and the Fosters was nice and cold.

Next a treat for Jim

One of Martins shinny new stainless exhaust which is amazing.
On Monday we stayed and enjoyed the company and the bank holiday sun until about 7pm.
However on our way home in the middle of the roads works this happened

We managed to sneak through the cones and stop on the hard shoulder and waited for free recovery to turn up, 1 hour later and he told us that he would put Jim on the back of his truck and take us to the services where it would be safer to change the wheel.
But the trucks bed was too steep and Jim too low he couldn't get Jim on the back,so he ask me to drive him down the hard shoulder where it was a bit safer and we eventually changed the wheel.
Got home about 10.30 but still a great bank holiday weekend.
