Bargain and great job. I keep hunting for a set of the Snipe hubs but always late to the party
I joined the Humber parts for sale group on Facebook. The fella selling was going to bin them if no one wanted them

Isn’t that a Hillman Minx? Really confused, do these discs fit a Commer also then?

It is an early super minx, it will have disc brakes on the front but will not fit a Commer,

I‘m back in isolation, so have been tinkering with the winter 2021 project. Sourced a new set of discs that came with bolts and spacers to get them sitting right. After working on minis with 7.5 inch discs, these 12 inchers seem like monsters!
Close ratio gearbox, with x pin diff and straight cut drops, centre oil pick up etc, etc. professionally built but never used. 2 grand worth trying to sell for £1,000 and the best offer I have had is £500, so I have a large paperweight.Lovely job, and still some Mini bits lurking in the background

The guy I bought the discs off has lots of super snipe uprights and hubs available. He also refurbs the calipers tooYes I’ve joined since - probably with every other Commer fan now
Thanks Nick, yes I had a snoop on his pages and will defo be in contact with him once I'm back from holidays
after a busy summer pooling round France in the van, it’s winter project time. New calipers, pads and fitting kit has just arrived from Germany And I finally get an hour to check the fit out.
Still here. Removing the play on the calipers by changing the mounting flange from 13mm to 7/16 by pushing in some stainless inserts. No wiggle room nowLovely bit of machining
