Ok. I skipped the cardboard and went straight to hardboard. It's just for a template anyway.
I made up some steel brackets that fit to the roof lining and wiper motor covering screws.
Just needs some speakers, switches, shagpile and maybe a cb...

Ok. So I decided to bin off the cb for now in favour of a decent radio. I'm keeping the old twin knob one in too.
Here is it all mocked up in the template. The big hole is for a storage bin.
The overhead switches add another 10 horse power..

99p mgf seats fitted. Had to modify the subframe to get them lower to the arches. Still full movement on the runners too.

Nice, how much did you have to chop off? Was thinking of MGF but want them to rotate so they’ll add some height.

I had to cut off the mountings and weld in the two crossbraces instead. Bit of trimming and I got them down about 15-20 mm. Doesnt sound much but it's enough to let me floor the brake so itll do.

Thanks Paul, might be too high in that case, swivel will add about 35mm, I’ll keep hinting for a low seat

It's a momentary on switch, normally open. Doesnt latch on.

Still, I got to try out the super glued on tab trick to hold it in place whilst I tacked it in place.
