Lilith the V8 racing Spacevan

You have plenty of time to fix (or break) stuff lol. I’m in precautionary isolation as a friend of a friend has it. I’m self employed so I got drunk. I did buy 25l of isopropyl alcohol and 1l of glycerin off ebay so I can make hand sanitiser for my whole close lol. Cost? Under £20. Rock on!

That's the brakes plumbed in. I did the rears after the last pic, I ran out of P clips though

Baby steps. Finishing off the rad cowling, fitted the heater blower vents (from a Challenger2 tank) and made up the cover plate for the old gear stick hole.

So you've got a porthole and vents from a tank, you need something from a plane now and that's all the armed services covered :)

Had to make some filler pieces for the battery trays. They have to be removeable to access the rocker cover and spark plugs.

Another afternoon at it. Repaired an outrigger with another piece of shelf.. which turns out to be ex MOD... then cleaned and red oxide painted one side.
Sat all the engine covers in for the first time then decided the seams needed blending in....

Under it again today. Everything from the front subframe back has had a coat of red oxide, some was even lucky enough to get wax oiled.. until I ran out.
Lots of filling and sanding done on the rad cowling before I started mocking up the overhead console. Ran out of cardboard though..
