Yes indeed :p Ideally I wouldn't want nice new seals and crumbling frames.

As stated on the other 1/4 light thread, I and Thowman would both be after a pair.

Peggy's got an MOT !!! (not a lie)

Even if your seals are in good condition now they're bound to need changing in a few years time, as this is likely to be the only opportunity for any of us to get some new ones made it may pay for all of us to get a set, either to use soon or keep for the future? If we could all do this then we should be able to get much closer to the required number.

Just a thought.......

Just had a check on exchange rates etc. Currently 150 AUS dollars (cost of the seals)is £84.21 this is plus shipping and UK tax [xx(]
The min order is 50
At the moment I am not in a position to fork out £2500 to keep 25 in stock and I don't think Woolfy will be either. But if we keep adding to the list, we'll get there :)

no one can blame you martin for not wanting to fork out £2.5k at the moment, we will get the amount needed in the end:p

Dodge Glendale

Yep, fair play to you Martin (& Woolfy) we can't expect that of you - it's all our responsibility too.

But assuming you'd both take a couple each we've reached the 25 pairs halfway point, which is still significant. We'll get there [8D]

I was talking to the guy that owns the warehouse next to mine today and it turns out he owns a rubber extrusion company called Viking Extrusions. They make all manner of things out of rubber including replacement rubber parts for a lot of classic car clubs. I got him to take a look at the quarter light rubbers on my Highwayman. He tells me that they are moulded and shaped which he can't do but he can easily do a copy of the profile and produce unshaped lengths. You would have to cut it to length and cut out the little hole for the hinge at the top but he reckons they would fit fine and work out approx. £6 to £7 each side. If someone can supply me with a small piece of 1/4 light rubber a couple of inches long he said he will quote.

ITS JUST COMMERN SENSE TO HAVE ONE

Thanks Throwman. If its 3 seperate profiles then I will need 3 samples to get a price. Any offers from anyone!
