Just picked it up last Friday. Unfortunately they had damaged all the lower panels quite bad, not very happy [!]

So your initial concerns were well founded [V]
It's frustrating that people in a business that should appreciate the value of such vehicles to their owners and the hours of toil which have clearly been invested in getting the vehicle to its current condition, should have such an attitude. Sounds like they could do with a little customer care training.[!]

Grrr look at those damaged panels what a cowboy operation, if it makes me angry i can only imagine what it makes you feel Martin, but hey onwards and upwards if we classic fans were beaten by this nothing would ever get restored. good luck were all here for moral support, you have the weight of the commer world behind you.
This is some VERY TASTY welding , A long time since Ive seen such work, If ever you feel the urge to pratice I could always help out with a Commer or 2 !!! This is a hell of a job and so well done , Hats off,
