well, ever since we got Tigger i haven't been completely satisfied with the way he runs at high revs and was getting p'd off with having to lift the engine cover to put my hand over the air intake to start him up...so much other stuff going on that i simply haven't had time to play about properly......anyway, yesterday I managed to grab a couple of hours of ME time lol ....
removed this...
and it defo doesn't work...thing is, it was the cause of our breakdown on the way to Coventry last year, I put a new seal kit in and it worked for a while but a couple of the bits were not right..
you can see the filter is quite mis-shapen and the one in the new kit was the same diameter but the hole in the center was much too small...does anyone have a seal kit that would be right????
luckily I had a spare pump so used that, but would be good to repair this one as a spare
Also, I took this off...
completely stripped and cleaned it and blew the jets through as Tim suggested....thanks Tim...
put it all back together and Tigger is now running SO much better, really responsive[8D][8D] now if only this damn rain would stop, maybe we could get out for a run tommorrow
