well, sounds daft but im going to go back a
couple of steps. although im happy with the ride
height, i would like it to go lower when parked
up etc. ie, airbags.
i moved the lever shocks up 4" to compensate for
the axle drop, but they now foul the chassis, which
means a change over to modern style shocks, so i
decided to cut out the floor to make it easier to
fab and weld brackets for the shocks.
it was after i had done this that i decided the rear
axle is coming back out and a slightly narrower one with
factory 4 bar set up and panhard rod is going to replace it.
i obviously cut the floor out further up as well so it'll
make it easier to mount the rover engine and box instead
of grovelling about on the floor underneath it,
im hopefully looking at going for a setup like this.
just waiting on sorting out the collection of the axle
and i'll get a pic of the setup.
