It fits over the doors and across the screen, held in place by closing the doors on it. With Peggy's big door mirrors it's not a great fit though!

Just got back with the mangled Triumph. Already scavanged some bits for the PI, and the engine is a sweet'un.

Finally took some pics of Peggy's sunscreen today. I also realised that if I feed the screen between the mirrors and the doors it fits perfectly DOH!

I also found a piece of filler hose which I originally ignored. Since I have the leakage around the filler neck I thought a previous owner must have bought it but never fitted it. I have just gone through the paperwork that Peggy came with and found an invoice for "Filler neck hose" dated 2003! So it appears she's had an issue for at least the last 7 years.

No time to try fitting it now but will have a try in the next few weeks as it would be nice to fill her right up and not have petrol leaking out before it's even reached the tank!

Well, Peggy is ready for her coming out.:D All set for the Imps OTT weekend at Reading Abbey Rugby Club.[8D] Should be leaving around noon.;) Depending on how busy he is we may or may not end up in a mini-commervoy with Andy and Babs.
I'll take some pics and post them up in a few days.

You said it! Assuming we arrive in one piece I'll wait 5 mins and try starting her up to see if the fuel evaporation issue is cured or at least improved.
Have spoken to Andy and there will be a small Commervoy leaving his workshop in Tring at about 1.30pm. Happy days!
