October Commer meet

It's in Oxmoor Lane. If you drive on the B1222 from Sherburn towards Cawood, turn left into Oxmoor Lane (opposite Scalm Lane which would take you towards Selby). Commerland is the first on your left. :)

If you go across the railway line (on the B1222), you've just gone too far.

The campsite is right on the corner of the B122 and Oxmoor Lane, you should see a bunch of Commers if you peer through the trees as you approach the junction, turn into Martin's drive when you see the Calor Gas sign.
Four more sleeps:D

I won't be joining you I'm afraid guys.
As I said I've had a lot of busy weekends and it turns out that both front
wheel bearings are naff so i think i'd best sort that out first.

H

You will. I'll keep an eye on the thread to see which shows we are attending
and I'll try and join you at some of them :);)

But just in case your wondering I'll be at Commerland with Bernie and Jim on Friday Cos I never miss meeting up with My Commer Mates.
Looking forward to meeting new Commerades :)and I guess I'm also looking forward to seeing All the Old Ones too ;) and I'll miss those that won't be there :(

Never said a word - unlike some:rolleyes:

Unfortunately I will not make it. Gutted. I just couldn't bodge the van roadworthy once I started :-(

:( Was looking forward to seeing you and the van too. There'll be other times:)
Car and tent?;)

I was really looking forward to it. We have big plans for the van with regards to use and I want to invest the extra time in it to make sure it lasts for many years to come. There is only a few weeks work getting the base van solid and sorted and then I have to sort the interior etc.
Will make the next meet, in whatever form it arrives, without a doubt!

I've finally managed to put together my plans to get all the way to commerfest from the depths of South Milford, but will probably only manage to get there by Saturday. Will be bringing my octogenarian parents, who are responsible for my commerfandom, having bought a nearly new E reg back in '68.

It wont be a big affair like last year, no live bands or entertainment - unless you count me;) Just a chilled out meet with nice people, nice vans and a party tent:)
