Absolutely fabulous ! :)

Congratulations ! You now have a brand new 2010 model Commer Autosleeper (?) :D:D Straight from the showroom. How is that possible? ;)

Having seen it in the flesh last week, I can only say that this is one magnificent Commer. And the only galvanised one, I wonder? :p

Bet you're looking forward to the meet in Coventry. Hope you have a wonderful time in it. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have. Have a good trip.

That truly is a fantastic job... well done MM. Stunning, like new.

It begs the obvious question though:I:I....? What was the cost of the restoration????

Update from Hazels Dad: Clarabel is off to a Classic Drive in at The National Memorial Arboretum (Memorial to soldiers who died since the 2nd WW) at Alrewas Nr Lichfield -travelling Saturday for a show on Sunday. Martin has now finished all of the final jobs- leisure battery/ mains/ water tank/ electric tap! and we are now firing on 12v dc /mains and gas. Cold milk and hot toast! ps. I have posted a long Insurance saga with a good outcome in 'Chat- Insurance' - Hazel Matt and Thomas hope to post some pictures after the weekend- its good to have Clarabel back now after a long winter.

Another update from Hazels Dad- Clarabel is still in Yorkshire! Matt Hazel and Thomas were meant to drive down early this morning -we had a problem , we drove away from Commerland mid week with a maxed out temp gauge 120 d. A change of sender made a marginal difference so we had to drive back hot although not boiling over. I changed the thermostat yesterday asuming this would cure it (Martin thought it might have stuck on over winter) Same result. Old thermostat opened in boiling water but not when it stopped boiling. Have just taken the new thermostat out and C is now running well at about a third up the scale after a 2-3 mile run.Too late now to check the new thermostat -but reading others problems -Is it possible we have a batch of wrongly regulated thermostats about? -they should open at the stamped temp of 88 d and seem to only work at or over boiling. Anyway all is now well until the frost comes. Will now need to start off about 6 ish in the morning to beat the show curfew.

Thanks for the early morning good wishes!-Clarabel made it by just after ten -temp started off in the middle of the white then moved to just below red uphill on motorway, never went right into red but ran very hot-still needs sorting. Show was great-summer is definitely here now! Clarabel was the only Commer camper but we spotted a small Commer cob used as a fire engine!!! NB MM -put owner in touch with our website and encouraged him to contribute- there was a VG VDub with friendly owners. We have also shown a picture of memorial to soldiers from recent conflict where the sun shines through at 11 oclock on the 11th of the 11th.and hits a poppy wreath. This was an excellent show and well organised-It would be good to see more Commers next year.

lovely pic's thank you!
(The grill looks nice but have you concidered the badges may be contributing to over heating issues by blocking air flow to the rad)
Oh I wish I was a little lad able to escape to the bunk he looks very comfy [^]

Looking nice :) but do move those badges as they are partly blocking off what is already a small hole ;)
