Something else to cheer you up: I'm not a Yorkshire man by birth but the last few days have made me proud to live here- The Tour De France has given every village and town on the route an opportunity to support the event - flag waving , massive crowds and knitted jerseys/ bunting everywhere! Today was our turn- Clarabel turned out in her finery- Matt and Hazel waved flags- Thomas and Evie May admired free gifts thrown from floats-and all of the children on the wall fitted into Clarabel after the race for a rest!

For those bike enthusiasts -some good photos of the race will follow shortly when Hazel sends them to me. Hope these will load- it takes me ages to load these one at a time -coming out of forum in between - I think it is a slow connection. Enjoy the sun and if you get a chance take a Commer to the race-- Mike Clarabel and Co

We kept a lookout as we watched it on tv, didn't spot clarabelle tho' :)

I still can't see this -which is a pity -shows the 'leading pack' from the wall side viewpoint. Hazel might be able to load it one facebook later! Mike Clarabel and Co

Hi Hazel great to hear from you :)
6 years - I'm surprised the kids will still fit in the van but wonderful they still find it exiting:D
Please pass on our regards to Mike and hopefully soon we'll all be together for fried eggs and jam butties

Hi Panky its lovely to hear from you , I will pass on your regards to my Dad, we can't believe it either, its been a busy few years to say the least, I have been manly studying and finally completed my Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare last November. The kids are growing up fast, Thomas is nearly a teenager and Evie is nearly 9, I think it would be a very tight squeeze if we stayed in her for a long period of time as Thomas is bigger than me now lol. We still take her on trips out our highlight of the year is Helmsley's Steam and Vintage Rally at Duncombe Park however this year has been cancelled we are gutted. It would be lovely to all meet up again when the world returns to normal. Keep safe and we will post some more pictures of our adventures in Clarabel on our drive lol.
