After first run out felt as if pickup was holding back. I removed the distributor and cleaned out the inside.
Distributor was full of mud and springs were Brocken. Refitted and pickup ran well. Set off for Moffat With a slight water leak but got to Moffat ok. Pickup ran great all the way to Moffat and nearly all the way back. Could smell burning on the way back then the alternator light came on. Alternator had seized. Got it back to the yard. Removed the thermostat housing and the alternator will refit at some point.
