My New Baby!!!

I have come to a point where I need to get to the passenger side of the van to repair and fit new outer sills and other repairs, so I have spent the weekend getting the van ready to wake up so that I could move her. a combination of flat battery and buggered charger was my first issue, closely followed by a lack of brake fluid, perished coolant hoses, rusted core plug, leaky carbs due to dried out O rings and sticky starter. Eventually I managed to get her started and moved under her own steam. First time in 3 years

Just needed a little cuddle, the van not you.
Hopefully the plug behind the flywheel is OK. See if yo can get a hose pipe in. and a good poke round with a piece of stiff wire, before you replace the core plug. Loads of crap builds up in that area.

Hose pipe went in and the crud came out.....I did the Yaris too, which was a pain in the arse, front panel had to come off to get to the radiator

I have gotten away lightly on this side of the van, no where near as much rot as the drivers side. Sooo much filler though. A couple of repairs needed to inner sill, chassis riggers suspiciously intact.

I think I used about four litres of celly when I did Harvey and put on three coats. But I was going over the same colour so no show through.
Seriously good work there Nick:cool:

Marvelous work Nick, its really looking well.

Same as John I used 4 litres 2 off Yellow and 2 White but used 2 pack paint which you need the right equipment and space to use it. I did have a little over but not much,

Can't wait to see the finished van.
