LoL it's easier to post pics on Facebook with a phone. I do put pics usually both on Facebook and here though.
I am trying to get a build sheet for the van so I can determine the date of manufacture. I have tried emailing the chap suggested but have had no luck as of yet. Does anyone have any suggestions for all the 74 vans that may soon be tax exempt.
I think the van may get some red highlights to break up the blackness. Black and silver reg plates would also be pretty cool, but she is the wrong age for them. I need to find a location for the plates, as I don't want them slap bang in the middle of the front.
Point taken regarding the grill, it is however the original grill, but down. I am looking at alternatives for here.
It's time to stop messin around and get the van back on the road. I have been granted three weeks holiday for summer, so we are looking to travel further afield this year. Maybe Spain and Italy.

Our 67 Wanderer had the number plate mounted to a bracket fixed to the front bumper, below the starting handle hole.

Just plodding on with the wiring, trying to get the windscreen wiper to work. Took the switch apart to clean all the gunk off, but it still doesn't work. Bah. I have also fitted a new heater. This one is from a mini. Seems to do the trick. Just need to tidy things up inside and she will be ready for a shakedown.
Cheers John. It's a rotary switch with 3 connectors. Going to start tracing back to find the issue.
GULP.....just had my holiday authorised at work. Three weeks over summer. We are booking a ferry to Spain and then another ferry from rotterdam to Hull a couple of weeks later. What happens in between. ...who knows. Gotta get the van ready for a huge trip, with some suitable mods.
Of course not, she did really well last summer. Just something to increase the range, so we are not spending all day at the fuel pumps and maybe something to improve fuel consumption, bearing in mind we are going to be doing 3,000 miles in less than a month.

No, I haven't removed the metal sleeves from the bushes.....There wasn't any. Lol
