Nice work guys, a project with promise!. What will you use to secure the body together?. Simple G forces are sure to relieve the chassis of its body [}:)]. Pity the poor man sat in his Vauxhall corsa behind you at the lights for sure.

Keep up the good work, still think a Clevo would of been an interesting attempt. We have an old F350 in the workshop here, i just like to let it idle for the ear candy!

Is looking very impressive Tim..... I think a thing of beauty such as this should be under a glass dome rather than a steel cover if it is to remain in the cab. Either that or you're just gonna have to remove the sofa and put it in the back so it can be admired by all who gaze upon it.

Are you doing anything to the engine Tim [?] Just wondering, as I blew holes in 6 pistons coming off the line at York Dragway [B)]

That looks the nuts mate I can't wait to drive it Have you had another go at the gear linkage or is that next ? I think a vision panel is the way forward but just wonder how much you can c when rad goes in ?? It will prob cover most of it
Maybe just a large removable top box so I can take it off when parked up at the shows With a bit of lighting in the engine bay

There,s lots i would like to do to the engine Martin, but i don,t think Rich will let me :D
May just lower the compression slightly and perhaps do a little porting on the exhaust side, that,s about it

Rich, the rad will be well forward of the engine, so won,t be in the way.
Gear linkage is underway, rose joint problem solved :p just waiting for a bit of stainless rod to turn up ;)

This may seem a dumb question to some, but is a subject close to my heart, how in hell are you planning on stopping this rocket?

Cheers Stephen

A servo on the brakes for now should be ok untill I can afford a disc conversion

Yeh, as long as it doesn't stop against something!

I have a friend with a Boxter and a 64 Mustang, reckons that he needs to totally change his thinking when he gets into the Mustang. It goes great in a straight line with the 289 V8, but is a very early production car with the original 4 wheel drums. Smart one Henry!

Maybe Commeracer has a stray American logic gene. "It worked on the early Mustangs so it must work on a Commer". Certainly will be an exciting ride, pity it's not a bus, there would be more screams than the roller coaster!!![:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0]

Cheers Stephen
