Regarding the brakes, yes a disc set up would be best, but for now a good servo will do.
The P5 axle has bigger drums than a Commer, so that,s the rear sorted.
The Rover engine weighs less than a 1725, which also helps.
Most of the time it will be traveling at normal speeds anyway, just getting there quicker

Yes, we need to do something to lower the intake temps, as it will be in a very dangerous zone with the 9.35 compression and serious boost with no intercooler.
Close to detonation levels, and the last thing you want is blown pistons after all this work. Shame it,s a bit costly, but much cheaper than blown pistons

Like i said, it,s not perfect, but then neither are alot of things. There is so little space to play with, there is not much choice, It,s not how i WANTED to do it, but if anyone can think of a better way then let me know.

Wow, you certainly are tight for space. So long as she still sounds like a V8 and the supercharger whines, then I'm sure a little exhaust inefficiency is a small trade off I know it would hide those lovely welds, but would it be a good idea to apply some heat wrap when you 'go live'?

Exhaust manifolds done, all made from a nice bit of 316 marine stainless, not the normal cheapo 304 grade [^]
Not ideal from a gas flow point, but the best way considering the space available [}]
There is bags of room there! I recon you can get a really tight branch manifold in there with long pipes and the collector further down under the van. An equal header is out the window but I recon a branch manifold with very tight radius on the head flange end is possible. Fair play for shoehorning it in the bay though Cant wait to see the engine cover

Yes so did i Jon, but with the MAX gap between flange and chassis at 45mm and the minimum gap running into negative numbers and the fact that a gear linkage has to go through there. Do you really think i would have made a log manifold out of choice ?
