I thought about asking for the buyers number but whats the point? whoever it is would then start demanding ridiculous ££'s for it........I just hope whoever bought it will have the work done and give it as much devotion as I would of done......
I agree about the extra space Chris.....thing is my Dad had a Car Camper when I was Olivers age, so you see the charm for me!.......My Dad loved it when we got Smurf and then Tigger and He knew I wanted a van like his..as you know he passed away in January. He would of been so happy knowing we had spent some of his savings on such a van.....
I believe Frenchy is a mini bus.....the only other 2 I know of, 1 belongs to Mark n Kirsty (sunny ole dorset) which now has an Autosleeper interior and Gatts old van which has been residing at Martins for some time...
I`m gutted for you Colin
You would have turned that van into a beauty.
Keep the faith though there will be another tucked away somewhere with your name on it, there always is
An Allegro was my first car, I actually wanted a mk1 escort but as my parents were lending me the money they 'persuaded' me into it....I was so embarrassed
Commer Dandy by Dandy Caravans
The Colonel Mustard
That thought had crossed my mind, maybe with Frenchie as a host...Martin is unsure if he wants to sell it and even if he did I think that I would be acting on the rebound so to speak....
Very sorry to hear that, Colin. Didn't know that you were after this camper. Is that why you told us all that it was so bad, in order to shake off any competition??
Like Alan says: One day one another one will turn up with your name on it.

Snapped from under you nose - that must be so frustrating. Hopefully another will emerge soon:I You've waited this long so like you say don't jump in on the rebound for something second best - another one will come along soon enough

Hi John, yes VERY frustrating, in a way I think fair play he kept his promise to wait til the guy from Gloucester had seen it, but also he promised me he would let me know his offer before he actuality sold it......i could of transferred the funds into his bank there and then...
Obviously I wanted the van and I posted a very honest report of it...if that put people off to my gain then fair enough but primarily I did it to save people a wasted journey...imagine how peed off someone would of been if they had travelled down from say Yorkshire or somewhere to find it needed such work..
I am not cross with whoever bought it, I hope they look after it. but I am furious with the seller[V]
i might be tempted to sell mine as i building another commer,1969 car camper with some history going down for mot this week ready for welsh weekend run Richard
