Why do people not give an honest description of there goods? That van is starting to make serious money and someone may well be very pi**ed off when they go to collect there purchase and find its hand painted! Personally I would rather read that its been brush painted than read it has an mp3 player fitted:(

I did point out that he should amend his advert rather than pee people off when they turn up......especially if they have travelled....I am only 10 mins away...

I`m 4 hours away and would be very unhappy....I probably would have asked the question though as so many people seem to think it`s ok to attack there van with a brush or roller and of course it is but they should advertise the fact;)

The sunroof (the front one, of course) was all I needed to get my pulse back to normal.. [xx(]

Looks fine on the photos, though. But Colin's comments are an important reminder of the fact buying unseen could be disastrous. And when they hit these sort of prices, one ought to be sure that the vehicle really is a good as it says on the tin.

Needs outer sills {fluted} both sides (bloody expensive) door bottom replacement, clutch is slipping and also separate issue pedal is spongy suggesting air in system/leaking cylinder...has had a knock just below fuel inlet/petrol cap.so has bent panel work......battery duff.....fuel gauge doesn't work so showing full......exhaust is blowing big time from either manifold or where downpipe joins manifold.........interior needs a LOT of tidying...needs all rubbers around glass replacing and pop top needs long piano type hinges replacing both sides......ahh, the list goes on!!!! ...not quite sure how valid the MOT actually is????? I thought the sills were structural??? and a blowing exhaust...(enough that it is causing a backfire)????

NOT IMPRESSED!:( ...when I went there Friday I held my hand out and offered to pay him £5.5K there and then and he declined saying he had promised some guy from Gloucester he would wait til Sunday for him to view it.........I sat down and thought long and hard about my budget....I got a quote from Martin Maltas for welding and a full metal respray putting the total to about £10K ,,,,,I have always said since I joined here that a Car Camper would be my Dream van............I rang the seller y/day and told him I ''wanted'' the van and would he please let me know the other guys offer...he promised he would...........I saw the ad had gone this morning, so rang him again........he simply said the guy showed up last night and he had sold it for £5.5K ............I replied I would of paid MORE!

Absolutely GUTTED!:(....

makes a mockery of my highest bid of £4000 and I thought I was in with a good chance of winning it.Bah humbug
 
I know but I'll just have to go to the Bronte gathering and drool over the commers that have managed to get there.
That's if I can get my car in and out of the parking field it might just be a tad boggy.
