Might be easier to take it across the rocker cover and mount it on the other side

Indeed, you'll probable only need about 18 inches of the flex. It would be nice to put it in front of the rad but all that hose would be very restrictive.

yeah true. if i fit it on either side i could always run whats left of the pipe from in front of the rad to the filter so it acts like a cold air feed. that would probably help

no i left it how it was then i sold the van to colin who decided to remove it and fit a different type of k&n to his van;)

ah cool [8D]. i think i will run a small duct from in front of the rad to wherever i put the filter. that way it will have a cold air feed but wont be restricet as much :D
