DODGE SUPERVISTA

A__ECB6.jpg it's been two evenings of slog to get to this..also decided to fix the exhaust that's always given issues blowing since the stainless went on. One of the studs was threaded halfway up which meant you couldn't get a decent gasket in (the pipe ends aren't the best match by the exhaust makers). Tried removing the stud which of course snapped so drilled it out and made a new one from threaded stainless bar works beautifully, have now got a good fat metal Mercedes gasket in which is perfect for the job...no more blowing and fuming us out (I hope!).

no time to do both and the second dude won't allow this fix as no space for a nut without grinding (the wrong type of grinding ) ...test run in 20 mins!!! Then Whitby Sunday...good run in!

all running well...bottled Whitby in it and Jo.took the car :) don't blame her. First test run conked but I hadn't bolted the dizzy holding plate down...didnt realise the builders hadn't either so it had jumped out unfortunately... an issue with rushing things

Don't blame you, a wise decision but the chance of Jo going away in the toaster certainly made you get a wiggle on. Any particular reason why you were so keen to get her out of the way;)

A__062B.jpg A__77BA.jpg A__E050.jpg ...im off sailing for a week in loch Lomond so if she didn't get away my life wouldn't be worth living. Got lucky and the campsite had a pod thing available, Wood burner un'all she's well happy the camper wasn't ready :)

you should try up loch Lomond...go every year with a couple of mates...mooring at and living on your own Choice of island for a week...stunning

Long time no update! So the big Motorhomes been sold thankfully and it’s time to wheel the Dodge out the garage...probably seen a few bits I’ve been having done as well as the new alloys...gone for a set of 205 r14 60 tyres, fair bit small than the current 185 r15 105’s we’ll see how the top end is affected, have a 4.77 diff and OD so should be acceptable still. Just bought the last extended towbar from Wattling...they only have one standard one left now so be quick if it’s on your wish list.
Gearbox and engine dump leaks to do and off for MOT ready for summer.
Final bit is safe rear seats for the two littleuns. I’ve sourced a couple of leather Renault espace seats with built in seatbelts. These clip into long runners I’m integrating in to the floor and can be moved forwards backward, flooded flat, taken in and out and rotated - luckily they should just fit down the centre of the van between the bench seats (46cm wide) so almost made for an Autosleeper interior :). Idea is get to site, Unclip them and store them in a mini pop up tent outside. Should be super safe for kids

That would work. If not your welcome to try the seats out of the multipla, can cut the mounts out of the floor for you.. It's going for scrap anyway

Cheers Paul, want them to slide about so can kids can face each other or not, also they turn into a table and pop out easily. We’ll see how well it works but only option I can see that’ll safe for 2 kids and two adults
