Chris's new ride

just thinking electrics,with the split charging system,leisure battery set up...would any of you have anything similar,if so,are you able to flick a switch to turn on/off the interior electrics [?]still strugling a little bit do have drawings though !!!
 
I brought a split charging system for my van of Ebay, ive yet to wire it up though cos the seller forgot to pack the instructions!!..[V]...
 
martin...........can i send a pic of wiring......i could add them to my flickr would any one have a look and try to answer a few questions??
 
i will do it after tommorrow taking my dad to an appointment in the morning,then i have an interview in the afternoon.
 
Hey Chris

From my limited knowledge of the leisure relay I think the main battery has to be completely charged before the leisure battery will begin to charge. There is also the "issue" that the leisure battery will not draw from the main battery which is great as you can leave your interior lights on all night to attract moths and when the leisure battery runs flat the main battery fires the engine into life!
 
I keep saying sorry to you, sorry, but I get 'Photo not currently available' on the first two but the last one is fine :( How strange
