We're back where it all started - again.
Work on Harvey has commenced and I've started with the drivers cab door. He is missing his door check straps and one fateful day the wind caught the door and creased it

I decided to tackle the dents before the door bottom repair as the crease was across where the repair section goes.
I got one of the cheap ebay dent pullers to see if it would work
This is what you get for £18
I thought I'd got a free gift but it was just packing around the glue gun
The dents
First attempt at gluing the plastic things failed as it just fell off. I heated the panel and then attached the glued tab and this time it stuck fast.
Heave ho
And the result after a couple of hours of gluing and pulling ( and much muttering) was....................................a complete waste of time

It looked like it was working and the panel was flexing under the pressure but it just wouldn't pull hard enough to pop the dent before the tabs broke free.
So i decided a more brutal approach was required.
Riv-nuts, a bolts, a claw hammer and a piece of wood
That did the trick
I'm sure that the ebay puller would work on thinner panels but Harvey is just to tough
