Back of the garage

Blue and green should never be seen unless there's a colour in between' I'm a fashion guru don't you know:rolleyes:;)

Red and green are opposites in the colour spectrum, so if you stare at the engine for a while, then you blink quickly or close your eyes, you will see the cylinder head as red and the block as green.

I started prodding - oh dear:rolleyes:
Tried to convince myself that I didn't need new sills - wrong. I unpicked it carefully (for me) to see what it was like underneath and I was pleasantly surprised to find most of the inner savable, just the floor edge in the front and a small hole further back.
The small holes here and ther are where I drilled the spotwelds out - why is it when you dont need your spot weld bit your falling over it, but when it comes to using it:confused:

The floor by the toe board was looking a bit crusty too so more un-picking, cutting and chiseling later.

Most pleased that the return on the toe board is savable. Happy days, no more cutting now until I get some panels - then it's over to the other side of the car:eek:

That bit of floor actually wasn't too bad but I wanted to get rid of the slinging bracket rust trap that someone had used to jack up the car on a four poster at some time. Not me but it had buckled the floor up on both sides:(

That's quite a common issue, glad your sorting it though

And it's annoyed me for years:mad:
Isn't it therapeutic chipping the bitumen covering off a Mini floor - especially when you get a really big bit that comes off

It was chipping off like well set treacle toffee, most satisfying:) Probably because it was about -2 in the garage
