Another Jennings resto

I've done a couple of small sections using a bead roller but the panel did distort quite badly (probably just me not making them big enough) but I got lovely door Botton repair sections from Martin Maltas.
Will be interesting to see the results if you go the power hammer rout.

I’ve got an English wheel i can use to pre stretch if i bead roll, I have the make it kustom (YouTube) profiler so would make a profile off the vehicle using a block of filler and transfer it onto 5mm steel to put in the machine. For what Martin charges for door bottoms I’d probably be better and easier to use those, but a big thing for me is doing as much as I can and learning as much as possible doing so

I approve your philosophy, I do what I can with limited equipment with sometimes questionable results ;)

The rear plate holder had taken a bash, cracked in a couple of places and a few bits missing. Could probably have fixed it, but I’m learning enough new skills as it is without needing to learn fibreglass ! So I set about remaking it out of steel. Happy with the outcome, it’s SLIGHTLY bigger overall but I’ll get it in the hole with a tweak to the surrounding timber. Better welding, some filler in the edges to tidy it up and it’ll be tip top
