Well done Scott. I have to start tackling Bab's rot in the same area at some point - sooner rather than latter otherwise I might be attending the meet in Wales with Bab's sitting on a trailer.

Thanks peeps. A natural i'm not but i suppose i'm getting a little more confident if nothing else. It seems that my mistakes are far more successful, but my camera does'nt see this HAHAHAHAHAHA. Talking of camera's.......My brand spankin new Christmas pressie decided to pack up already, but not before i got to take these;) Camera back to shops tomorrow:( I will defo be up for Wales Baz even if in a tent;)

This is just behind the Bulkhead. You can see the piece of floor that needs to be welded in, plus the Gas bottle box has a hole that needs plugging;)

I go away for a year and you sell duke buy a new van and move house. Looks like your new skills in welding are going to pay off. I'm gonna put Ralph in for mot this week so hopefully be back on the road soon.
 
Good to hear from you again Paul, i was only thinking of you yesterday as it goes as i was driving through Peakirk:) it surely is all change my end HAHAHAHAHA! Hope Ralph flies though;)

Some of the welding is a little ropey i know, my brother wanted to help and pretty much forgot how to weld....! Still, it's all solid however[^] More to follow soon;):p

Marvelous progress, nothing a dressing up with a flapper disc won't cure[^]
Don't forget to drill a few drain holes in the new chassis members before you paint the inside and box it up.

Thankyou peeps;) it's all been rust proofed Chris:) it's all been drilled now Panky;) and Trev, you're not wrong there mate[^]

Been out there again today and got some more done. Firstly, i took advantage of Tim's little idea here and made a couple of slits in the Cill, gave it a tug and welded some fillets in....This makes getting the wheel on and off easier;)

I then set out to make the floor section. Some fettling and swearing, a few cuts and abrasions later, it welded in:D i'm so pleased to have a new floor in Pia, i thought i would never achieve such things after gawping at a gaping hole for so long:) i ran out of gas so the welding was pretty spitty but it tidied up with a flap disk;)

And this was just gratuitous but i just couldn't resist it...It's not glued in yet but it looks sooooo good, i'm having a few jars tonight as i'm really chuffed that it feels like things are moving forward;)
