HAHAHA, nice one Jon;)

It's not the easiest to get them to fit flush to be honest. You have to chop them about a bit as obviously you cant weld them. What i mean is...Other panels have to be glued too as oposed to previously being spot welded together, difficult to explain really. These panels have their pro's and con's for sure, but i think i would prefer welding them in? I will see what they look like when they all go on. One thing with them though is that they are bloody strong and well made with nice and thick Fibre glass..Mr Maltas does'nt buy cheap;) they're as strong as Metal any day!

I've seen the job Bernie did on Gladys and it's well worth the effort[8D] You also get the bonus of not getting weld spatter down your ear when you fit them:I

Summer's Coming.....
Trust me

Another bonus is if the top section of the join is all good and rust free they are easier to prep for paint, as when you put a steel panel in the full length of the van you get heat distortion up the quarter panel and very hard work to get it sraight after filling and sanding;)
Ive just carried out this repair on my van for the long awaited paint job that I keep putting back;)

Are you using tiger seal? Its the best product for thr job.Put your self a bead of it on the join seam when its all fixed in place.

Thanks mate, i will get me sen a tube of that;) any advice on making the front inner Cills is most welcome HAHAHAHA, i reckon it would pass the M.O.T but i'm not over happy with them really. Funny and awkward shape to make:( I think a phone call to our Woolfy is needed!

You can do them in two pieces but you will need a sheet metal folder to do them. There £70 quid a side off the wolfmiester but you can buy a sheet metal folder for £52 off the bay that should do the job if your feeling brave;)

You might get that good at making them you could be wolfys main supplier:D;) lol

These are the best pics I could find of the two sections going on.
First is the inner section

Then the outer step

The two join together along the bottom turned-in edge until the outer step scoops down to join the front panel. You can just see the position of the inner step through the check-strap hole in the outer one.
