Tidy - just needs a pop top and a mattress while it’s in bits
Interior is almost there
Seats are still looking a little squashed after being in storage but except for a few nicks and blemishes it all looks reasonable. Just need to fit the seat belts and if anyone knows where I've put the rear view mirror I would be very grateful :roll:
I'll need to do something with the headlining joint between the cab and rear roof, the lining seems to have shrunk in the wash and there's no way it will pull around the front spar so I think I'll form a strip of wood to fit across the joint and stain it to suit the rest of the woodwork.

I think you will find the rear view mirror where you last left it. Just look there and you will find it.

I've found all the mirrors except for the replacement , dipping, interior mirror. I fitted that because the plastic original on the original was degrading badly and I was sick of being dazzled by modern cars and their night suns so I've fitted the original and when I find the other one I'll swap it round.

The picture implies that the dipping lever is on the top, but it is on the lower edge. There is also a rubber spacer/support (removable), which fits against the windscreen.

No problem, besides, I would have to remember where I had left them!Thanks Chris but that fitting is different. A classic Mini one is identical
