using up some rustoleum from my Austin1275gt. The colour is Aqua BLVC 60
I wouldn’t use rustoleum on the exterior but it’s good to get some protection against corrosion. As I am doing the restoration outside on the drive, sometimes I have to do things in a different sequence.
next up will be cavity wax on the floor, followed by 9mm marine ply and stretch carpet on the sides and wheel tubs.
this gives me the option of doing interior work if the weather isn’t good.
removing windows, cleaning up underneath, and refitting windows with new stainless screws, stripwood and sikaflex. Surprisingly time consuming

The Deluxe badge goes on the bottom of the cab door towards the front, I think the Commer badge goes on the bottom of the rear door towards the outside of the van. Not sure which door though

Great carpet!
A bit of interior work done. The floor base is down and all cut outs for gas, water and petrol have been cut. The sides of the van have been covered with stretch carpet. Our much anticipated carpet tiles arrived today at great expense (£1.50 a tile) we just had to have a play and see if the carpet matched the curtains in true seventies style it’s all frigging hideous but very cool. Only issue is now the cupboards look tatty.
Loving it. Where did you get the floor tiles?
Search on eBay for orange carpet tiles. I got dpd to deliver for 15 quid
