Will is selling Jay

Hello All..
First I must say a Big thanks for all the kind comments on Jay,
now and over the years..
And big apologies for not posting the sale here first myself.
I know what you lot are like for trying to talk folk into
not sellin, but im afraid I dont realy have a choice.
But ive still got a Coaster to restore one day so im afraid you lot are still stuck with me! (allthough mostly lurkin!! )
I must also thank Martin and John Admin for keepin it quiet after i breifed them and chewed over my thoughts on selling the other week.
Its not a decision that ive taken without regret..
Im not one for the keyboard, as is obvious by the fact I only post on forum about once a year, and I dont like to post and then not to respond. But I do lurk every few months, and its good to see names and projects, old and new (Chris n Tim, J Panky, Steve n R williams to name a few).. Its come a long way since John, myself, Martin and Rob"green been" smith(remember him?) were on some classic forum which name i forget ! sorry if ive forgoten anyone..
Must also add that if anyone is looking for a good straight original van then check out the Wanderer that Dave is selling. It is a good and dead straight van.

Thanks again all, mostly to the big man, admin Johnny for creating this house of loons..:)

Its best to use a 6 speed gearbox from Moskovich, It just bolts straight on:D

a quick reminder for when he fits mine where's the best place to mount the ecu ? thanks in advance Will it was behind the drivers seat wasn't it? theres no rush 'cos it will probably be another couple of years before we get on with it [8D]

Not lurkin, I had gone to bed.
Yes it is behined the drivers seat, with the main Relay
and the fuel octane plug. This can be placed on foam for protection.
I have also covered mine with carpet panels..
Can yo do me a favor Chris, and perhaps resurect the posting i did a few
years ago regarding the engine swap ? It may have been in the mechanical section? This may help others??

Its great to hear from you and we Hope you are all well.
Its nice that James remembers us and the van.. Its a shame
that we have to part with it, But we have another Commer
that we will do at some point, and we have another project to fund..
Its a shame that we couldent meet up at at the CCC meet last year, but
we had not put Jay on the road at that point of the year.
Nicky sends her love to you all, and we wonder if you are all heading to Martin and Karrens Commerfest? We hope to get there for one day at least..

We would love to visit Commerfest, and Trudy has a personal interest in Karen's chosen charity, but unfortunately we may well be in Devon at that time. It wouldn't be in the commer either, never driven more than 10 miles away in it in 5 years usage! Still our daily runabout though, well not every day!

Cant sit still!! Sat out in Jay this morning with a cuppa, thinking back
on all the work, and the promise i made to myself never to sell it..
Its gotta be done, but with mixed feelings...
Had some nice genuine viewers over the last week, and im sure you will hear from whoever wins, and perhaps also from the ones who dont?
Pleased with the bids so far, Just hope its one of the viewers ive met or at least a genuine buyer and not a messer such as bought Owens Wanderer on Ebay last week..[:(!]
