Hi all - it IS a CIM Wanderer (Caravans International Motorized)....with an aftermarket replacement roof-cap for the lift-up Parkstone roof. The other givaway is the original layout of the furniture...and the cupboard door handles....typical CIM.
Sorry - allow me to introduce myself: Carl's the name and classic motorhomes are my passion!!!
Currently restoring a CIM Bedouin (Bedford CF...sorry), but am on the lookout for an un-molested (interiorwise) Wanderer, Highwayman and Autohome to add to the collection.
I have a deep affection for the CIM motorhomes of the early '70's - the ultimate aim is to gather together an example of each of the Bedford, Commer and Ford variants that they built at that time (Bedouin, Brigand, Wanderer, Highwayman, Landliner, Wayfarer and Autohome - the last available on all 3 chassis...).
Great forum......look forward to taking part...
Carl
