to OD or not to OD?

I'd check that out very carefully before relying on it though. It was taken from comments from the guy at Chards. It has to fit the UJ size as well.

Actually the "10 spline sliding sleeve with 1100UJ yoke" I got was a Ford Capri item with the oil flange knocked off! There must be loads of applications that will fit.
 
Point taken, but if you need a shaft, and as long as the sliding ends are the same, then you could cut the Commer yolk and flange off and graft it onto the end Minor shaft. You just need to remember you may have two different UJs if they ever need replacing.
 
Wow great info there, well done.

I was hoping to pick up my box tomorrow but something fell through so wont be on the road now til next week. The guy with the box has a number of props so he says, so depending on there condition and price I might get one from him or take up the challenge of sourcing just the yoke. Either way I'll be grafting something together!

I n Australia we can get the 8 inch clutch but there are no new 8 inch covers we have to get the old one rebuilt
