exhaust to the manifold joint was blowing a bit of exauhst sealant did the trick, its much quieter now.

I also fitted some halogen headlights.

Good stuff Will, you can see in the dark now:)

The it was the join between the manifold and the exhaust that was blowing so you can't blame the welder Colin :p:p

The halogen headlights revolutionize driving in the dark with her.

We took her for a little spin too today out into the forest.

I prefer the cleaner look of the rear without the bumpers :

Smurf really is in good nick[^] I agree with the headlamp thing - a huge improvement over the original sealed beams.

Each to his own, I've still got the bumpers If I ever change my mind.

I wouldn't mind a pair of early rear bumpers though.

gave her a good clean and got all the grime out of the gutters, then used the turtle wax to make her shinier, big improvement. I also took the front bumper off ready for repainting.

I suppose I can let you off. Have a word with Mr Stretton though, he's got no excuse and isn't taking hints!

I hadn't intended on leaving the front bumper off but it is growing on me. We shall see.

I have to agree it looks good without the bumpers, do really need to repaint the front one silver ? I'm not so sure. [?][?]

Bumperless looks good if all the holes are filled and smoothed but I do like me chrome bling[8D]
