Its my 40th birthday today! Old is a word to be used with extream caution!!! Otherwise i might have to kill you then go and buy a silly sports car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks heaps for the encouragment everyone, just cant wait to get the rest done and go CAMPING! First order of business will be a bacon buttie and a beer. After i have installed the stove that is.

I have a flash new SINK to go in....

Yea she is Irish and i spent 27 years there. We came over to NZ about 8 years ago (and bought a commer):D
Was supposed to be in Sydney this weekend for birthday bash but managed to miss the flight[:(!][:(!][:(!]
Oh well back to plan 'B' then:D

Got to spend a few hours in the garage this afternoon. Stripped and sanded the entire cab and masked off ready for priming tomorrow:)
I am lucky the cab floor is in good condition. Just one small pinhole and a couple of scabs to sort.
Will post pix of how it comes out tomorrow.

General plan is to get the cab all finished and then get the front panal finished off. Once that is done Iceman can go for a Warrent (MOT)and then be road legal!!![8D][^]

This thread had sliped down to page two so think its time i got out there and did a bit more:)
I havent been able to make great progress for a few weeks as have been away (overseas, not jail[:0]) and then work kinda got in the way again. Darn work[:(!]
Anyway dug out ye olde spray gun and a tin of primer to get the cab underway. A couple of hours later and it looks like this...

After a bit of whinging i have managed to get some time off tomorrow so hope to get a couple of top coats on it:) Once that is done all the bits can go back in and the front panal can be finished (five years later[:0])
More updates tomorrow so be sure to tune in!

Aaron,

Is that a battery box in the footwell on the passenger side? Was it like that originally, or is it a modification of a later date?

Never seen that before.
