I have no idea even what year it is. It's going to be a hauler for my racing cars/outfit so will be building it to purpose. Leaving the body as is. I'll be doing something very similar with the diff but exchanging for a holden one which gives me a choice of ratios from 2.78:1 to 3.90:1 for around $50 each. I'll also be putting in coilovers as well as the leafs to level things out. I am chasing some parts if you have anywhere that I can bug that ships to Australia.

Its a pa pre 65 mate due to the single side light in front panel and low down grille. Its missing 3 chrome bars on front grille mate.
Speak to Martin maltas on here if you want bits plus post in the wanted section.
Yeh think im going coilovers too.
Lovely van mate

Its between late 62 early 63 and 65 mate as it has a bulge under the top grille, no bulge means 60, 61 or early 62

Hi Damian and welcome to the Madhouse:D
Nice van - they do seem to age well down under[8D] You'll need a bigger engine to pull that taller diff and a race car, what plans have you in that area?

Thanks Panky. I haven't got enough to show for a thread of my own but I have a fully rebuilt 283 chev with a towing/torque cam profle mated to a supra 5 speed. The shortened tailshaft (propshaft) is suited for an r160 IRS so I just need to swap over the flanges to a holden and then I'll get the grinder out. My measurements have the front pulley sitting around where the bellhousing is on the stock setup.

Nice[8D]
You've told us lots already - plenty to start a Readers Ride thread:p

Well the front is down only on vut springs so far I know its horrible hence why im not just running this.it will be a combination of cuy spring and some serious cross member modifications.

That is pretty much all i got done today!
The arch side is basically where it will be once the chassis has been modified
Sorry to all the purists out there

Purist? you should know us better than that by now;)
I think you'll be needing to move the sump somewhere else as well:D Have you been chopping front springs[:0]
I guess you are going to lift the chassis rails up and hide them behind the wheel arch
