John

Date for your diaries for a brilliant show.
August 19th/20th 2017
Anyone interested in a place on the stand please let me know, all Commers and Dodge's welcome:) More details to follow.
Hi Panky. Could you let me know more details available

Certainly. The show is open to the public at around 10 o'clock on Saturday and closes at 4 in the afternoon, similar times for Sunday.
Here's the blurb from the organisers website.

Well be there all weekend from setting up on Friday afternoon until late Sunday - see you there, shame your van isn't ready to go.
Just spotted your message on my profile posts (don't often look at them) so I'll make the change and PM you.

Still waiting for a couple of people to confirm they've received their tickets. Only a few days to go so please let me know if they've not arrived and I get onto it.

OK the theme is coming together:)
If anyone wants to dress in period (1970's) cloths it would be great but not compulsory.

A very wet and soggy show but ultimately brilliant but my 2017 body doesn't appreciate being thrust into 1970's platform soles:rolleyes:
Our theme this year was a used car lot complete with high level bunting and spectacular entrance, created by Bernie and Heidi, original price screen stickers and the 'Office' party tent.

The poles were illuminated at night too and the sign spun in the wind:)

The line up

Like I said - it was soggy:eek:

Mike took over the major schmoozing role

The sales team, we could have made a fortune - this time next year Rodney:D

IMG-20170821-WA0000.jpg

We won 4th prize for best stand behind Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Jaguar.
And our celebrity guest was among the Judges Choice prizes as well as walking away with the best campervan trophy
Meet Stewart Rodgers:)

Cant forget Mike looking dapper in the Val Doonican jumper his sister knitted for him for his 18th birthday.
Star of the show:)

Quite a few people missed the 'Not For' bit at the top:rolleyes:

This years badge.

Huge thanks for everyone who made it with a particularly MASSIVE shout out to the four Franks who made the Herculean effort of bringing the Postbus and pick-up all the way down from Scotland with only a forty MPH cruising speed and a dozen or so break downs to spoil the journey well done boys it was a total pleasure to have you there:D

Thank YOU Mr & Mrs P for organising yet another Commers at Tatton Park, more memories have been made and of course we have photographs too.
The trophies are a bonus But most importantly it's the company that makes the weekend.
John and Barb for sourcing the original prices of all our vans and supplying our latest Commer Badges
Colin & Helen beautifully dressed, going for a stroll round Tatton grounds but only getting as far as the beer tent where they bumped into
The 4 Franks who I'm sure have boosted the sales of anything alcoholic.
Martin M who for the first time ever didn't have to fix anything for anybody apart for his own charging socket with Bernie's help.
Henry who is now becoming use to the Hardcore Commerades
Lucy for bringing Harvey who was missing Gladys
Mike for supplying our Dippy Eggs for breakfast and his homemade Yorkshire Mixture Jam, and of course for the oldest wearable jumper
Bernie and I Thank You All for your company over the last weekend, who cares about the weather when we have friends like you.

Hi All. Sorry we couldn't make it... Looked like a right giggle! I've Had a Op & Lilly NOT finished yet, Appx 6mths till she's finished.
Glad you ALL had a blast from the past & love the outfits & bunting...

I'm a fashion guru me, unfortunately my sister isn't as talented with the knitting needles as Mikes

i wonder how much it would be to ship Evangeline and myself over for next year...

The car lot is a brilliant idea!
It looks like a marvellous time was had by all, even though the wearher was uncooperative.

Nice day at Tatton... Looking forward to catching up with people soon...

Hi Panky. Excellent Thanks. Can’t find it though lol. Can I find it via the main menu? Couldn’t see it in ‘mechanical hints’
