I know, tell me about it. My arms are still feeling the burn, lol.

Dolly Commer Is Here http://66.129.69.181/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6833

The purchase of the post office van has kicked me into action on my camper. I have all next week off work so I want to drop the engine back in her, this will be a big step in getting her finished.
After a massive headache of trying to get a new oil pump for the Perkins, it turns out the length used in the commers in no longer available and also you cant just take the inners of a new one and put them in the old one. Me not noticing the difference in length, ended up with one cracked sump and a bent oil feed pipe.

All this sorted now, I'm just running with the old pump, had a new pipe made and the allow sump welded. I built the bottom end back up yesterday and then screwing the sump plug back in the sump split the length of the thread :-(. So now thats back of again being welded up.

In order to get the engine in the van needed to be turned so I had to use the Post office van to tow it out the unit :)
