Spring Bank Meet

Heya Guys..

I think I can now confirm that I'll be able to come meet you all this weekend...YAY..
Quite an exciting prospect for me and Tramper. :D
Sorry i've not managed to get any pics up, i've managed to lose the download lead for my camara. doh.

The meet is timed and located perfectly for my long journey from north west wales to brighton. yay...
I'm a bit nervous about driving the long distance especially as she's only covered 150miles since the engine was rebuilt. [|)]
So, having a field full of tramper's sisters and commer experts to meet and geek with half way down is fantastic..:D:p:I
yay. yay. yay.

look forward to meeting you all...

look forward to meeting ya all...
yay

sorry to hear that Paul[V] good luck with what you're doin'
Hope you can get there transitvanman, am guessing is a line up not to be missed.
Glad you can make it Nancye - safe journey - enjoy it, am sure Tramper give you a good run:)

Anyone else there on friday night or will I be on my own[?]:I

Might grab a phone number for campsite if possible Martin and maybe someone forum based in case I manage to end up in the wrong Hatton Park[)]

Will keep everything crossed Chris that Sybhil can make it - happy to bring spare tent if not - it's a three very cosy bedroom job with a front room (says it sleeps 2 in each wing but must be same sized extremely friendly people as Pankys' 2 man tent description)

Looking forward to catching up with you all and scrounging lifts and 12v sockets[:X][:X][:X]

Postcode brings up Hatton House and country park, would you have a phone number for camping bit in case we have trouble finding it?

Hate to miss you:I

the campsite is inside hatton country world, follow the hatton country world sign from the main road, enter thro the main gate and keep to the left hand road which goes straight on.about 100 yards in front of you you will see a hedge with a gap in it,camping is normally through this gap on the other side.DONT go on the grass as it can get boggy.if you have any problems park on the hardstanding carparks in front of the hedge.
i think the onsite manager is called richard, you can get to him by going to the hut at the entrance to the childrens farm, ask in the hut and they will normally put out a call to the duty manager/warden who will park you up.if you intend to get there friday i would ring them as the front gate is normally locked after about 6.30
we organised the avenger and sunbeam national weekend there last year and they are really helpful

Hi there,

Please bear with me as a new member, but would a Detroit Dodge van cousin towing a caravan do for now?

Our commer only comes out for local trips!

Greg

I won't have any wheels, commer or otherwise, so you're already at an advantage:) hope you can make it[8D]
