heya
anyone travelling from north wales and up for a convoy..?
I'm planning on leaving around noon, its about 150 miles,
so averaging 30m/h i'm reckoning on 5 hours..!!!!! with potential tea breaks... route, A5 bangor - shrewsbury, down to bridgenorth, onto M42 towards hatton.
hope to get there before the 6.30 curfew, but knowing me, hehe, i'll be a few hours late.....

We won't be there till Sat, but, anyone going tonight, look out for a Knaus camper (modern thing), thats Keith and Janet, just go and say hello :)

I have just read your post and was wondering what day you plan on going, 12 noon friday or 12 noon saturday?
I live in Church Stretton, 14 miles south of shrewsbury and was thinking of leaving on saturday, let me know

Glyn once had a fella from Birmingham turn up with head gasket troubles, fella had bought some of that sort of stuff and before putting it in was stopping every 4 miles to top water up, after using it got him all the way home from west wales to Birmingham without stopping.

I used a couple of bottles of Radweld in my old Cavalier, that lasted about 12 months but the leak wasn't that bad, I was just topping up every couple of days.

just got alternator back on and a few scars latter, we are ready to leave. Just gonna have a shower then see you there, will probably arrive about 10 tonight so look out for us....
