He Past a couple of advisories 1 Fog light not working & slight corrosion rear corner so he showed me and it is the old outer corner of the van which is not needed on a coach built, but may be I should of taken it off completely I will for next year.
Well you would that Jim passing his MOT that we would be using him, But no as soon as I got him home from the MOT station he was having more cosmetic work.
Time to start work on his rear end.
so off with the back door, Lights out and rear step removed.
Thanks Andrew I am using 2 pack paint its a bit easier to use then cellulose, but I have to have 2 compressors going at the same time, one for the spray gun and one for the full face mast.
Started the day with the number plate housing, it is made from fiberglass and had been painted with stone chip
so I spent hours sanding it down and gave it a coat of primer.
Quite a lot of work to do on this small panel it would have been quicker to make a new one.
Then I started sanding the back of Jim down the lower sections had also been painted with stone chip
Fitted the number plate housing back on and added a little more filler.
a little more rubbing down then a coat of primer.
still a little prep work and then the top coat next weekend .
Next the rear door.
This needs a little work on the badly repaired damage but nothing too serious.
