Something else on the driveway

We have some paint on now, yes hand rolled!!..it wouldnt fit in the spray unit we have :(..So hell it isnt gonna win any awards(not that i would have aimed for any). But i like it, it has another coat to be done. The blue does highlight the aluminium and its ripples and bumps but its an old truck and i personally dont expect the 'as new' finish.
Im gonna mix traditional styling with my own 'inspired thoughts'.
Ive been brave enough to paint my own coachline onto the red stripe , The shaky hand that becomes me from time to time has made it a challenge! lol!.

Hmmm where shall i paint the tree? ;)

very gorgeous[^] love the colours and grand job on the coach stripe - not easy to do.

Am with you on the 'as new' thing - personally not as keen on the ultra high gloss spangly paint jobs on old wagons, goes against their character somehow. Yours really looks the part - more love gone into paintwork when done by hand;) cracking job:)

The TK is running like a dream, first time starting etc and is regularly moved around the farm where it is stored to keep everything moving freely.Only had a starting prob for a while whith the truck not starting shortly after aquiring., this turned out to be a fuel issue i.e not getting through so the fuel pump was removed and a new diagphram fitted which didn't solve things. So eventually one sunny Sunday morning whilst trying to get the old girl started I noticed a damp patch on top of the fuel tank and a hissing sound on turn over, so removed the fuel pipe to find a large split hidden away where you coudn't see it, one new fuel pipe later and she was a runner. I knew it was something simple of course after all the extensive work carried out by Paul.

The paint work has been rollered on, it is still to be flatted back and touched up where needed, the rear of the TK I am planning to strip the paint of as it started to peel away where I fitted 2 Alu strips on the corners to tidy them up. I have 2 doors that require a lick of paint along with the wheel arches etc, this will really bring on the project.
