Soapbox racer

Tonight I built it up and checked for damage. The body mounts were twisted but sorted that with a hammer and adjustable spanner. Unfortunately the roll bent the upright on the back end that everything is welded to... Body gonna have to come off so I can bend it all back straight

All 4 wheels off the ground... I count that as serious air!
That ramp was mental!

Body off and chassis stripped. The toll twisted the frame at the old pedal crank bearing housing. Warmed it up and tickled it with a hammer. It's OK now.
Found loads of straw in it for some reason. No idea where it came from....

New lean mechanism is underway, sacked off the trampoline springs. New method is rubber blocks :) hoping to mount a bracket inside to fasten a smoke discharger into

Modified lean mechanism, small compression springs inside sleeves of old bump stops. Will give a progressive lean and a positive stop... Hopefully

Bit more tinkering today. Built a mount and modified a spray can trigger to make an air freshener powered rocket booster :) smells nice too

No pics as yet but I modified one of the foot pegs into a pedal to activate the smoke, mounted a siren and added more weight
